14A Halfway Reflection
I am a horrible procrastinator; however, I will always
finish my required assignments on time, every time. Time management is a must
for this course. I tend to look over the weekly blog posts to pick out the
interview posts from the opinion based posts. This helps me plan out where I need
to be in order to interview the necessary people for each assignment. Sometimes
I feel like giving up or not doing a post because I have enough “Cupcake”
points to skip one or two assignments. I won’t say that I have developed a
negative attitude about the assignments because it is only based off of my
laziness. However, again, I do always end up finishing all assigned blog posts
for each week. What I would offer to students in the upcoming semester is to
(1) don’t procrastinate, just get the posts done ASAP, (2) explore the course’s
canvas page thoroughly because there are links/pages that I didn’t even see
until brought about in an assignment, and (3) WATCH THE LECTURES… they will
help tremendously.
And also… GO GATORS!
Hi, I completely agree with your advice. I do many of the same things; although I know I procrastinate, I do make sure to manage my time and plan for these assignments. You did give a very good tip-- reading other peoples' blog posts before writing your own. I haven't done that, but I agree that it would be very helpful.
ReplyDeleteAustin in our group used the downtime of the storm to literally work through the rest of the class. I would say that is impressive but might be bad near the more poignant assignments. I like your short pre-reading then planning. I do not really get a ton of time for school so i reserve like 2 days a week to shut everything else off. Sometimes it bites me but most of the time a full focus for a day is enough.
