30A Final Reflection

FinishLine
I really loved this course! I had tons of highs and very little lows. I loved how this course made us create a business concept. This really made me think about if I would do well in the business world and I think this I belong! My entrepreneur mind set is as strong as ever. This course really made me think that I was creating a theoretical concept that I can turn into reality. I was pushed to go out of my comfort zone and contact suppliers, contact business owners, and contact others in my market. I’m super proud that I can now consider myself someone that can conceptualize ideas easily. Before this class, I was all about formulas, facts, and fixed instructions. I had a very hard time trying to conceptualize different theories and ideas. It was something that I was not required to do in my past courses. If I had to recommend one thing to future students, I would say, keep up with these assignments. They will creep up on you if you procrastinate to the last minute. Also, make sure that you declare ALL of your assignments. It is your own fault if you don’t claim your points.

  1. Hi,
I could not agree with you more with every part of this post. I loved this course and loved following the theoretical concept all the way through and even thinking about what I would do 10 years down the road. like you, I feel more prepared and can better conceptualize ideas and hopefully one day I can use what I learned to create a real business.

  2. Hey Remi,

I completely agree with the aspects you mentioned in your final reflection. I am sure all of us left our comfort zone at least once during this course. I also think it was very useful and a push for the confidence to contact potential suppliers and business owners. It also helped to collect more experience and helped to grow with our tasks. I am happy that you seemed to enjoy this course as much as I did.

  3. Hi Remi,
I agree with you; this course really puts you in control of your own grade, schedule, and learning/growth opportunity. Stepping out of my comfort zone was one of the parts of this course I really enjoyed as well, and I'm looking forward to doing more work like this in the future through other coursework and through extracurricular activities I'm involved in that will allow me to further develop my entrepreneurial mindset.
